M2 Labs Artist Update: Welcome Megan Cannon of Instant Crush
"Honestly, "STAB MY BACK" has that same spark I felt when Paramore first hit back in high school, with hints of Le Tigre and Yeah Yeah Yeahs that just make me grin."

We're stoked to announce that M2 Labs is officially endorsing Megan Cannon of Seattle's Instant Crush. I've been listening to them ever since Hector, one of our M2 Labs artists who also works with Megan and Instant Crush on recording, talked about the band, and honestly, "STAB MY BACK" has that same spark I felt when Paramore first hit back in high school, with hints of Le Tigre and Yeah Yeah Yeahs that just make me grin. Fronted by Megan Cannon and rounded out by Matthew Tran, Keegan Mangahas, and Zoee Mangahas, these guys are bringing back that 2000s anthemic rock energy but making it feel completely fresh and urgent.
Their debut album I'M SORRY I DIDN'T BITE MY TONGUE dropped in October and it's been on repeat around here. From the speak-singing verses of "A CINEMATIC EXIT!" to the synth-heavy "SAFETY NET," Megan's voice commands attention in a way that reminds you why you fell in love with alternative rock in the first place. They've already shared stages with Del Water Gap, Plain White T's, and The Academic, and you can tell they're just getting started.
At M2 Labs, we're all about supporting artists who get what analog warmth can do for their sound, and Instant Crush absolutely gets it. They're heading out on a massive October 2026 tour hitting Los Angeles, Reno, Eugene, Seattle, and Portland, and we're pumped to have our gear helping shape their live sound. If you haven't checked them out yet, do yourself a favor and start with "STAB MY BACK." Trust me on this one. Find everything about them on Megan's Artist Page.
