Eduardo Vizzarro
📍 Cologne, Germany
Born on April 2nd, 1996, Eduardo Vizzarro has established himself as a multifaceted artist, musician, and industry professional whose journey spans performance, production, and community building within the metal scene. Eduardo's musical odyssey began at age 15 when he first picked up the guitar, initially playing right-handed. His dedication to the craft led him to make the bold transition to left-handed playing at age 19-20, demonstrating his commitment to finding his authentic musical voice. His professional career launched in 2008 when he joined his first real band, Act of Worship, marking the beginning of a prolific recording career. That same year saw the release of their debut "Black Legions EP" (2008), followed by the "Temple of Marduk EP" (2012) and the full-length album "Dominate Eradicate" (2015). In 2015, Eduardo joined Ayahuasca, further expanding his musical horizons. With Ayahuasca, he contributed to the "Instinct EP" (2015) and several compelling music videos including "Abyss" (2018), "Eternal Embrace" (2018), and "Cendre et Ruins" (2019/20). A career highlight came in 2017 when Ayahuasca provided support for Max & Igor Cavalera's "Back to Roots" tour. Beyond his role as a performer, Eduardo has built a reputation as a skilled guitar technician, working professionally with numerous artists. His technical expertise has been showcased at major festivals including Metal Colonia Fest, Death Feast Open Air, and Euroblast, where he has served not only as a guitar tech but also as stage manager for the 2nd stage since approximately 2016. Eduardo's creative vision extends into film and media production. He directed the 2022 music video "Kneel to My Steel" for Well Seasoned Christ, showcasing his ability to translate musical energy into compelling visual narratives. As host of his own late-night show "Custom Eddy Show," Eduardo has released 16 episodes along with ambitious 12 and 24-hour streaming events. His commitment to supporting the music community became particularly evident during the pandemic when he hosted the "Back to the Stage Festival" in Cologne and dedicated countless hours to recording and filming hundreds of artists, providing them with a vital platform to maintain their connection with audiences during challenging times. Eduardo Vizzarro represents the modern musician-entrepreneur: equally comfortable on stage, behind the scenes, or in front of the camera, always working to elevate the metal community and support fellow artists in their creative endeavors.
